Motorola’s budget phone plans appear to have been revealed through several Moto G leaks.
Starting out with the most ‘oopsie’ leak of the three, Motorola mistakenly listed its forthcoming Moto G56 on the Motorola Czechia and Slovakia websites.
We’re talking a full outpouring of official images and specs (via Dutch website Nieuw Mobiel). Here’s how it’s shaping up.
Moto G56 specs
The follow up to the Moto G55 (pictured above) will be announced later this week on May 29, and will ship in Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Dill, Pantone Gray Mist, and Pantone Black Oyster.
It’ll be powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 7060 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
There’ll be a 50 MP Sony Lytia LYT-600 main camera, with a 32MP front camera. Expect a 5,200mAh battery with 30W wired charging support.
Continuing Motorola’s robust design work, you can expect MIL-STD-810H, IP68 and IP69 certification, with Gorilla Glass 7i around front.

Moto G86 specs
The Motorola Moto G86 has leaked quite a bit, most recently in the form of certification bodies in the EU and China.
From these various leaks we learn that the Moto G86 will have a 5,200mAh battery in Europe, but a whopping 6,720mAh battery in China.
It’s also rumoured (via Xpertpick) to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 4,500-nit peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection – which sounds rather a lot like the Motorola Edge 60 to us.
We’ve also heard that it’ll be powered by a Dimensity 7300 chip (also like the Edge 60) with up to 12GB off RAM and 256GB of storage. IP68/69 and MIL-STD-810H certification could also be involved here.
Expect a 50MP main camera with an 8MP backup (presumably an ultra-wide) and a 32MP selfie cam.
This one could arrive in June.
Moto G96 specs
Finally, the Moto G96 has also leaked, courtesy of Android Headlines. The Moto G95 didn’t ship in the UK last year, so this one might not make a wider appearance.
Expect a vegan leather back in four Pantone-approved finishes (Cattleya Orchid, Dresden Blue, Greener Pastures, and Ashleigh Blue), a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The Moto G96’s display could be a 6.67-inch pOLED with an eye-catching 144Hz refresh rate.
It could also have a meatier-than-usual 5,500mAh battery, a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C main camera (like the Edge 60), an 8MP secondary, and a 32MP selfie cam.
Again, we’re probably only looking at a wider launch for the Moto G56 and Moto G86 here. If these reports are to be believed, we should start hearing official word of Motorola’s 2025 budget phone plans as soon as this week.
