It turns out that MomTok can survive this: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura are looking all loved-up in a new TikTok video amid Marciano Brunette’s claims that he had an affair with the hairstylist.
Jordan shared a sweet lip-synch video with his wife on Thursday, June 5, that appeared to dispel rumors of trouble in paradise.
In the video, Jordan can be seen looking at a restaurant menu and lip-synching along to Chris Young’s “Gettin’ You Home.”
“I don’t need this menu … I already know just what I want,” Jordan mouths as the camera pans to a smiling Jessi, 32, sitting opposite him and blowing her man a kiss.
@justjordddy She wasn’t on the menu… but she’s the only thing I’m ordering 😘 @justjessi
“She wasn’t on the menu… but she’s the only thing I’m ordering 😘,” Jordan captioned the video, tagging Jessi.
The sweet display of affection comes after last month’s bombshell cliffhanger to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2, which featured Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano alleging that he had an affair with Jessi.
During a conversation with Layla Taylor in the finale, Marciano, who previously hinted that something had happened between him and Demi Engemann, said that there was truth to online speculation that he and Jessi had made out at TomTom in Los Angeles.
“It is not even just about Demi. It’s a rumor — that wasn’t a rumor,” he said. “One thing led to another. Oh, more than [us making out].”
Marciano claimed he had sex with Jessi — and it wasn’t a one-time arrangement, adding, “We have tried meeting up [to continue the affair]. Jordan doesn’t know the truth about how extensive it was. It was not just a one-time hookup thing. It was not some one-night stand.”
In an interview with Bustle in May, Jessi claimed there was much more to the story. “I will say that it’s not what he made it sound [like]. What he said was not accurate. I wish I could speak now,” she said before agreeing with the interviewer that Marciano’s claims were hard to believe. “Honestly, yeah, he’s a piece of s***.”
“That was definitely a hard watch,” she said of the season 2 finale scene. “We are continuing filming, so you guys will see this story unfold,” Jessi said. “I would say that viewers can look forward to me being very vulnerable and going behind the curtain of my real life and marriage.”
Earlier in May, Jessi gave an update on her marriage to Jordan amid the affair claims.
“I will say that reality TV is hard on any relationship, whether it’s a friendship or a marriage,” Jessi revealed on “The Viall Files” podcast. “We’ve been through a lot and now it’s going to be public.”
At the time, Jessi said she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring while she and Jordan were “working through things,” adding, “We’re trying our best — but things are a little tricky right now. I’m excited to hopefully someday share more about that. But right now it’s just real life and it’s hard.”
