Raul Menendez returns in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 alongside David Mason
David Mason is showcased in the trailer talking to the CEO of the Guild. The character follows a butterfly into a screen, and the scene quickly shifts to a dystopian future plagued by destruction. The trailer shifts to a cityscape view and then provides fans with a glimpse of Raul Menendez crushing the same butterfly in his hands. The character delivers a powerful dialogue and says:
“Fear is a powerful thing, David Mason.”

The trailer then shifts to Mason in combat equipment and concludes with the title screen. A short montage of different maps and modes is showcased, hinting at several new features and gameplay items coming to Warzone as well as a new potential Zombie mode. The official teaser description on Call of Duty’s YouTube channel confirms that the game will take place in the year 2035 and will feature David Mason leading a team, and fight to stop the world from collapsing into complete chaos.
