A pregnant Cassie stepped out with her baby bump in tow one day before giving birth to baby No. 3 with husband Alex Fine. News broke on on Wednesday, May 28, that the couple officially expanded their family more than two weeks after Cassie testified against ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Images obtained by Us Weekly showed Cassie — full name Casandra Ventura — in a gray T-shirt while walking out of her New York City home. Cassie was smiling in the photos, which were taken on Tuesday, May 27, as she carried a Christian Dior tote and green drink in her hand.
She kept it casual, pairing the T-shirt with white pants, green sneakers, a black bucket hat and sunglasses. The tight top put her baby bump on full display.
The couple, who wed in December 2018, are already the parents of Frankie, 5, and Sunny, 4. Cassie announced her pregnancy this past February.
Cassie’s rare outing came after her four-day testimony in the ongoing trial against Diddy, 55, whom she dated off and on from 2007 to 2018. While on the stand, Cassie detailed the years of physical abuse she allegedly experienced during her time with the music mogul. (Diddy has pleaded not guilty and denied all charges against him.)
Part of Cassie’s testimony was about the 2016 InterContinental Hotel surveillance video, which was shown to jurors. CNN obtained video footage from the Los Angeles hotel and published an edited version last year. The clip showed Diddy dragging Cassie back into his hotel room after she attempted to leave.
Cassie alleged that Diddy said she “couldn’t” leave him and claimed that he threw a glass vase at her.
“There were violent arguments that would usually result in some sort of physical abuse,” Cassie claimed in her May 13 testimony. “Dragging, different things of that nature.”

She also detailed Diddy’s alleged “freak off” sex parties while on the stand. When asked about the events, Cassie claimed “it basically entails the hiring of an escort and setting up this experience so that I could perform for Sean.”
Diddy would “actually direct us on what we were doing,” she alleged. “Eventually it became a job for me, pretty much.”
Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023, accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship. He vehemently denied her claims at the time, and one day later, they settled out of court. She testified earlier this month that the settlement was for $20 million.
Diddy was arrested one year later, in September 2024, and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Arun Subramanian.
