Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever got their rematch against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday. Clark and Co. looked to avenge their 91-90 loss in Indiana two nights ago. After opening the season with two home games, the Fever hoped to grab their first road win.
The reigning Rookie of the Year winner opened the Fever scoring with a layup off a nifty pass from Aliyah Boston. Clark’s basket was the only one she would make in the first quarter after going 1-for-4. Like in the first Fever-Dream meeting, the poor start put Indiana in an 18-13 hole after 10 minutes.
The Fever roared back into the game in the second quarter despite Clark scoring only two points. She added two assists to help her team take a 37-34 halftime lead.
