VIXEN / WARRANT / CHILD’S PLAY – LIVE – M3 FESTIVAL
VIXEN at the M3 Festival
An epic battle of showmanship between two stellar entertainers – pro wrestler, musician, and podcast host Robby Vegas against Sirius XM host Tommy London met center stage and although there was no mat, no ropes to contain this match, there was a verbal spar, and a seizing of domination with a hammerlock to London. No all-out brawl, just playful defiance as the two introduced Vixen under the glare of stage lights and to the howl of loyal followers at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, at the 2025 M3 Festival.
With a strut that screamed confidence-laced danger, the all-female rock band took the stage to Jimi Hendrix’s Foxy Lady, a song wrapped in bluesy seduction and rebellion, setting the tone for the remainder of the set. With flirtatious looks and unmistakable swagger, from the moment the first chords sliced through the air, Vixen seized the moment launching their set into overdrive with signature anthems like “Rev It Up”, “I Want You To Rock Me”, and “Edge Of A Broken Heart”, balancing fierce femininity with an electrified edge.
Music-fueled passion pulled the audience in, ignited by every soaring chorus and blistering riff, they were kept on their feet, devouring every moment, shouting lyrics at the top of their lungs. With rock-star swagger at their finest Vixen delivered their signature sound with the kind of sass and attitude only they could command. The music was bold. It was untamed. It was pure, high-energy rock. Every note, every move was laced with pure attitude and untamed defiance—proving once again why they remain legends.
WARRANT at the M3 Festival
M3 Rock Festival 2025 transformed Columbia, MD into a glam metal paradise, and Warrant set the bar high with their opening set. These legendary Down Boys kicked off the show with a high-energy, hit-packed performance that had the crowd fired up from the very first note. Warrant wasted no time unleashing anthems and attitude, delivering an electrifying rock spectacle that had fans throwing up rock-horns in appreciation.
The setlist was packed with fan favorites, including “So Damn Pretty (Should Be Against the Law)”, “Bed of Roses”, and of course, the show-stopping “Cherry Pie”. The audience was in full singalong mode, with fist-pumping rock fans belting out every word and staying on their feet the entire set—myself included. Warrant’s performance was a time machine back to the heyday of 80s rock—unapologetically flashy, completely electric, and dripping with that rebellious spirit that made them icons in the first place.
From the soaring guitar solos to the anthemic choruses, Warrant proved that their music still resonates just as powerfully today. Fans soaked up every moment, making their set one of the festival’s most unforgettable highlights. The band was firing on all cylinders, proving that their music still holds a special place in the hearts of glam metal lovers everywhere. Their set at M3 wasn’t just a concert—it was a celebration of everything that made the genre legendary, a wild ride from start to finish.
“Heaven” and “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” were two of the most emotionally charged moments of Warrant’s set. When the band launched into “Heaven”, the crowd swayed, sang along, and held up their phones like lighters, creating a sea of glowing screens that added to the song’s nostalgic, heartfelt vibe. It was a powerful sing-along moment, proving that the ballad still resonates deeply with fans.
Then came “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”, and the energy shifted into full-blown rock mode. The opening acoustic riff sent a ripple of excitement through the audience, and as the song built up, the crowd erupted. Fans were headbanging, throwing up their fists, and belting out the lyrics with intensity. The song’s storytelling and dark, bluesy edge made it a standout moment, showing just how much Warrant’s deeper cuts still captivate audiences.
“I Saw Red” was an emotionally charged highlight. As soon as the first notes rang out, the crowd responded with a wave of cheers, and many fans sang along with heartfelt intensity. The song’s raw, confessional lyrics struck a chord, creating a powerful atmosphere that contrasted with the more high-energy, fist-pumping anthems in their set. The performance had a special kind of intimacy—fans swayed, some visibly moved by the song’s melancholic beauty. It was one of those moments where the connection between the band and the audience felt especially strong, proving that even decades later, “I Saw Red” still resonates deeply.
